“Poker Face” is a new mystery series from Rian Johnson, the director of “Knives Out” and “Glass Onion.” The case-of-the-week comedy-drama hits Peacock on January 26.
“Poker Face” is inspired by the “howcatchem” mystery format made famous by the 1970s television detective show Columbo. The series centers on Charlie Cale, a casino worker on the run. As he goes from town to town, each stop has a murder mystery that only Charlie, with his talents as a human lie detector, can solve.
