Chris Evans jokes with Jeremy Renner after his snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner has the kind of sense of humor that even more than 30 broken bones can’t take away from him.

The actor, who was beaten and seriously injured for a snowplow earlier this month while helping a family member whose car was snowed in, he thanked fans on social media Saturday for their outpouring of love and support during his recovery.

After returning home from a two-week hospital stay, Renner shared an upbeat health update with his Twitter followers, to which “Avengers” star Chris Evans swooped in with some perfectly timed humor to show love for his old pal.

He quotes tweeting the actor’s post, jokingly Evans. wrote, “That’s a tough mf’er. Has anyone checked the snowcat?” referring to the massive PistenBully vehicle that crushed the star in the incident.

“Sending so much love,” the “Captain America” star added, along with a red heart emoji.

Renner, who said he suffered more than 30 broken bones during the new year accidentteased Evans with such a perfect response.

“I love your brother…. I checked on the snow cat, he needs fuel,” he wrote, followed by a winking face and a laughing emoji.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans plays the unfailingly reliable leader of the Avengers, Captain America, and Renner as the bow-wielding Hawkeye.

The pair make up two of the original six “Avengers” cast and have teamed up over the years to battle the forces of evil on the big screen, including battling the nearly unstoppable Thanos and defeating the wisecracking Ultron.

The two longtime co-stars are no strangers to teasing each other. When Evans was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive in November, “Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth spilled the beans about how the “Avengers” cast mocked Evans over his cover photo pose.

Sharing what happened in the group chat with all of his co-stars during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Hemsworth said: “It was like, [Robert] downey [Jr.] He said he was going to be arrested, I said it was a beautiful mugshot, and Jeremy Renner said a number of things that we won’t repeat… Disgusting.”

On Saturday, Renner also opened up on Instagram about the dozens of broken bones she suffered and expressed her gratitude for the “love and bond with family and friends.”

“The morning workouts, the resolutions, everything changed this particular new year…. Spawned from tragedy to my entire family, and quickly focused on uniting actionable love,” he captioned the post alongside a photo of himself in bed, in which he appears to be receiving physical therapy.

Adding praying hands and heart emojis, he continued: “These 30+ broken bones will mend, become stronger, as love and bond with family and friends deepen. Love and blessings to all of you.”

The life-threatening accident, which required Renner to be airlifted to a hospital. due to his injuries after being crushed, it happened near his home in Reno, Nevada.

He suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and underwent surgery the next day, Renner’s publicist revealed at the time.

The actor, who currently stars in “The Mayor of Kingstown,” tweeted last week that “out of my recovering brain fog, I was so excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home,” referring to his crime drama series.
